CO1 2XL Painting requirements
As this is my first event, there are no painting requirements. However, units will need to have models present to meet the minimum model count as stated in the FAQ. Schedule
The schedule is as follows:
|9-9:30||Registration & kick-off|
The scenarios will be drawn from the Kings of War rulebook and will be announced at the start of each round. Game Time
Chess clocks will be in use with a time limit of 50 minutes per player per game. The clocks do not have to run during set-up, but must be run during player turns. If a player times out then all of their units are immediately routed and their opponent will receive an automatic win. Rules Dispute
If there is a dispute or rules query then clocks should be stopped while it is resolved. If players can’t agree then they can call the tournament organiser over to make a decision. The TO’s decision is final. Scoring
Players receive tournament points as listed below:
- Win: 15 points
- Draw: 10 points
- Loss: 5 points
After this, their tournament points are adjusted according to the difference in the total value of enemy units routed (their attrition points):
|Difference in value of enemy units routed (attrition points)||Player with most attrition points adjusts their score by…||Players with the least attrition points adjusts their score by…|
Additionally, players must also report their total attrition points, since these will be used as a tie breaker. Prizes
There will be a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
